The port is paralyzed, and the import volume is "0"

The Israel Times recently reported that due to ongoing attacks by the Houser militants, a large number of shipping companies have changed their shipping routes and no longer stop at the southern Israeli port of Eilat. The port is paralyzed and facing serious financial problems, with half of the workers losing their jobs.

In a recent interview, Gideon said, "Previously, we had 12 to 13 ships entering and leaving every month, but now there are none." He said that the port has been basically paralyzed and ship traffic has completely stopped.

Gideon warned in December last year that if the crisis persists, port workers may have to take leave. However, this Wednesday, the Israel General Union revealed that the management of Eilat Port plans to lay off half of the 120 employees. This news sparked strong protests from the workers. "At this critical moment, companies should fight alongside workers and their families, rather than resorting to simple and crude methods such as large-scale layoffs," said Aden, the President of the Israel Labor Federation

In addition, Eilat is also within the missile range of the House armed forces and has been directly attacked.

According to the Israel Times, on the evening of March 19th, the Israeli Defense Forces confirmed that a cruise missile launched by the Yemeni organization, the Husai, had hit an empty space near Eilat, Israel. This was the first time a Husai missile had hit Israeli territory. The missile did not cause any damage or casualties, and the Israeli Air Force tracked it. The Hussein organization claims that this move is to support the Palestinian people and respond to the US and UK aggression against Yemen. Israeli media believe that this incident is a serious mistake, as the air defense system failed to detect the missiles and the explosives carried by the missiles could cause a major disaster.
